BLUEBONNETS SAN ANTONIO

Now who wouldn't want a forever bluebonnet with them. This is the Texas state flower and received that title in 1901. So much history goes behind this flower such as being associated with Native American tribes and the name given itself. The scientific name is Lupinus texensis but the name bluebonnets came from the sunbonnets worn by pioneer women many years ago.
